What Members are Saying
Modern business practice has been crucial for our family business to survive. We've applied 21st Century technology and business practices to the hard work and Hoosier values that my parents used to start the company over 60 years ago; growing it into a global business headquartered in Indiana. Therefore, it is crucial for Indiana to have a modern tax system and government structure. We have a unique opportunity to reap the fruit of economic well being. Tom Farms stands with the Governor and this Alliance to make major strides in fixing our property tax system. The future of our state depends on it.
- Kip Tom, Tom Farms
My wife and I are contemplating buying our first home, but one of the major question marks lurking in the forefront is whether property taxes will climb more than we anticipate in our first few years as new homeowners. The status quo appears to be broken, and the property tax question is one that we would like answered sooner rather than later, and permanently rather than temporarily. It's comforting to be part of a group of people working to have that question answered in favor of homeowners.
